Your Culture Is Either Your Greatest Asset or Your Biggest Liability.

Every organization has a culture. The question is whether it’s the one you intended to build.

77% of prospective employees survey company culture before applying for a job. And according to Gallup, poor engagement and workplace culture is the leading driver of employee departures, accounting for 37% of the reasons employees cite for leaving, well ahead of pay at just 11%. Culture isn’t a perk. It’s a competitive advantage and it doesn’t build itself.

The organizations that attract top talent and keep them don’t leave culture to chance. They invest in understanding it, shaping it, and holding themselves accountable to it with intention. The Culture Diagnostic goes beneath the surface through on-site observation, honest conversations, and real data to give leaders a clear picture of where their culture is today and a concrete path toward where it could be.
Let’s Talk

The strongest cultures aren’t accidental. They’re intentional.

The truth about an organization’s culture rarely lives in one place. It lives in the nuance, the way decisions get made, the way conflict gets handled, the way people communicate, and the intentionality behind how your team is developed and supported. It doesn’t happen by accident. And it doesn’t fix itself.

Most organizations know something is off before they can name it. Unproductive tension. Communication that doesn’t happen. Potential that stays just out of reach. And the organization absorbs the cost in ways that are easy to miss until they aren’t: in turnover rates, in productivity gaps, in the cost of replacing people who never should have left. The Culture Diagnostic was built to name what’s hard to name, surface what it’s costing you, and give you a clear path toward the culture that drives the results you’re after.

How the Culture Diagnostic Works

The Culture Diagnostic moves through four phases, each designed to surface a different layer of what’s happening in your organization.

Observation

We spend time on site observing your organization in action: meetings, interactions, decisions happening in real time.

Listening Sessions

A series of focused 15-20 minute 1:1 conversations with key people across the organization that surface what a survey alone can’t reach. We listen for what’s said, what’s unsaid, and what keeps coming up.

Survey & Data Synthesis

A thoughtfully designed survey that gives every voice in the organization a chance to be heard, combined with any existing data, assessments, or HR insights your organization already has (if applicable), tailored to your specific context and questions.

Detailed Report

A written report in three parts: The Story of Your Culture, What the Data Tells Us, and The Path Forward - generative, clear, and action-oriented. Note: Observational and interview data is handled with discretion.

Schedule a Call

Not sure where to start? That’s okay. Tell us a little about what’s happening in your organization and we’ll take it from there.

What We’re Looking At

The diagnostic explores the areas that shape how your culture functions day to day.

Psychological Safety

Do people feel safe to speak up, take risks, and be honest, even when it's uncomfortable? Using Amy Edmondson's validated Psychological Safety scale, this is the foundation everything else rests on.

Leadership Alignment

Are leaders modeling the culture they say they want? Drawing from Psychological Capital research (hope, efficacy, resilience, and optimism), we look at how leadership shows up in real time, not just in stated values.

Wellbeing and Engagement

How are your people really doing? Informed by the PERMAH framework, we look at the conditions that allow your team to flourish: relationships, meaning, engagement, and more, evaluating where there is room to invest.

Culture Stewardship

Great cultures don't maintain themselves. We look at how intentionally your organization is tending to its culture over time and where that stewardship has room to deepen.

What Becomes Possible

Culture is not a soft variable. It is one of the strongest predictors of how an organization performs, how long people stay, and whether a team can weather hard seasons together. The research is clear, and most leaders already sense it. What is often missing is a way to see culture clearly enough to act on it.
