Tasks & Responsibilities

With oversight by the Chief Impact Officer and coaching and regular engagement with the CEO of THRIVE IMPACT, the Lead Facilitator is an experienced experience designer with 7+ years of experience.

Working with the Senior Team, the Curriculum Lead, and Support Facilitator will play a significant role in designing client workshops and supporting the facilitation of experiences as needed.

The activities below are core, but additional duties may arise:

  • Engage in the preparation of workshop curriculum and experience design
  • Support the creation of workbooks and other materials needed for workshops 
  • Provide support facilitation for one-off or ongoing client and community workshops

The problem is that there are significant systemic, cultural, and individual demands placed on nonprofit leaders. And when demands exceed the resources available to these leaders, burnout happens.

Burnout is the ENEMY of creating positive change.

We have two primary ways of supporting nonprofit leaders. Through our Nonprofit Energizers and through our THRIVERS community.

Necessary Skills & Qualifications

Skilled in all aspects of experience design, including:
Question design
Choreography design
Workshop accessibility
Facility with tools and technology necessary to support high-quality online instruction, including Session Lab and other related tools
As a support facilitator, leverages a guide on the side rather than a sage on the stage persona
High-energy, light, playful style
Access to the technology necessary to effectively facilitate online
Experience in/with nonprofits
Knowledge of appreciative inquiry is a plus

Compensation

Project-based, the hourly rate falls between $40-$50/hr.
